Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve service desk tickets in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Continuously monitor alerts from endpoint management tool. 
  • Provide second and third-level technical support to end users for software/ applications, hardware, and  network issues. 
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software. 
  • Set up and configure workstations for new employees, including installing necessary software and  peripherals. 
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates on systems/ workstations within the workplace scope to  ensure optimal performance. 
  • Work closely with other IT team members and departments to resolve complex technical issues. 
  • Communicate effectively with end users to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in end-user computing or a similar role. 
  • Familiarity with cloud services and solutions (e.g., Microsoft 365. Office 365, Azure, AWS). 
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems. 
  • Experience with endpoint management solutions such as Microsoft SCCM, Intune, Ivanti or similar. 
  • Familiarity with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions like VMware Horizon, Microsoft Cloud PC, Workspace One or Citrix. 
  • Understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. 
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Required certifications such as Certified: CompTIA A+, M365 Fundamentals, Microsoft Endpoint  Administrator Associate. 
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: 
  • SharePoint, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified AI Practitioner or similar are a plus. 
  • In-depth Knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Purview, DLP, Microsoft Defender, AWS Connect. 
  • In-depth Knowledge of automation tool such as Power Automate. 
  • In-depth Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell. 
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions. 
  • Experience with IT service management frameworks like ITIL with ITIL V3/V4 Foundation.
