Responsibilities

  • Develop differentiated content and messaging strategies:
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to sharpen perspectives and value messaging
  • Experienced in writing and producing press releases, articles and blogs, social content, videos, and infographics
  • Develop and implement a holistic strategy to shape public perception and build reputation and awareness
  • Provide media counsel, pre-empting potential issues and proactively exploring potential media opportunities
  • Engagement of mainstream, trade media and digital media
  • Develop and increase thought leadership visibility on targeted topics across a creative mix of targeted platforms.
  • Leverage owned channels including website and social to amplify key stories
  • Manage issues and crisis communications and be a part of the emergency response team
  • Support communications of Company‚Äôs community and social service contributions and partnerships

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in conceptualising and successfully executing strategic communication plans for companies with high-impact outcomes
  • Degree in communications, marketing or related field
  • Experience in issues/crisis communications
  • Demonstrates critical thinking
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment that requires multi-tasking
  • Strong interpersonal skills and significant experience working with media and management teams
  • Expert verbal and written communication skills with proven credentials and examples
  • Strong knowledge and abilities to use multiple platforms and channels (including digital)
