  • Consult with the hiring manager to complete a detailed job specifications, fine-tune sourcing strategies, prioritization of roles and agreed timeline for the recruiting process
  • Screen and qualify suitable candidates before providing a quality short-list to the hiring manager
  • Deep understanding of recruitment best practice tools and methodologies (e.g. sourcing, selection and assessment)
  • Proactively search and contact passive candidates to introduce them potential open positions
  • Facilitate arrangement of interviews
  • Support hiring manager on face-to-face interviewing (competency-based interviewing)
  • Conduct character reference checks for assigned roles
  • Produce timely and accurate recruitment activity and management information reporting
  • Maintain statistical reports addressing issues such as cost per hire and days to fill
  • Proactively identify and suggest areas for improvement by developing and implementing effective, business-outcome changes / additions to employment policies, practices and procedures in order to achieve the strategic intent in the Company’s thrust in talent attraction
  • Support the Senior Manager in driving various green-harvesting programs including internship as well as recruitment campaigns in campuses and professional institutions; and leveraging on social media and virtual platforms to reach out to candidates
  • Strategic knowledge in TA programs – Employer’s Branding, Campus Campaign and Mass Recruitment Exercise
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, ensuring legal compliance and cost effectiveness


  • Degree in Business Administration, HR, IT or any other relevant discipline
  • Recruitment experience within the IT industry is a must; as the candidate is expected to be very familiar with the full spectrum of IT functions, specialties and roles needed in an end-to-end IT solutions, development and architectural environment
  • Experience in managing Volume Hiring and enjoying it is a must
  • At least 5 years’ mix of experience in an in-house recruitment role and recruiting agency
  • Experience in running TA programs (Campus Recruitment, Employer Branding, Mass Recruitment Exercise and Vendor management) will be a good advantage
  • Strong in stakeholder and candidate management is a must
  • Familiarity with web-based recruiting applications such as job boards and tools including social media recruitment resources such as LinkedIn
  • Skilled in pre-screening methods and competency-based interview to determine candidates’ fit for a defined role
  • Poised and professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent, driven and hands-on with a high level of commitment to deliver on talent attraction strategies & initiatives in a fast-paced environment and volume hiring
