Responsibilities

  • You will apply business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies using quality processes and methodologies.
  • You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.
  • You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions. Additionally, you will provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams. Expert proficiency in Test Management is required. Advanced proficiency in Quality Engineering Strategy and Planning, Testing Process and Quality Improvement, and Quality Engineering Strategy Implementation is recommended. 
  • Lead end-to-end testing activities across multiple projects or releases. Prepare and maintain test strategies, plans, cases, and reports aligned with project objectives. Define and enforce testing standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with development, business, and product teams to ensure quality deliverables. 
  • Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
  • Oversee test execution, regression, and UAT activities. 
  • Mentor and guide team members, ensuring efficient workload distribution and skill development.
  • Participate in requirements reviews to ensure testability and completeness. 
  • Provide testing estimates and contribute to release readiness assessments. 
  • Collaborate with automation engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (if applicable).
  • (Optional) Design and execute automation scripts using Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent tools.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of software testing experience with at least 2+ years in a Test Lead role.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and QA methodologies.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail).
  • Excellent skills in functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple testing efforts across releases.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
