Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Lead to organise events such as workshops, meetings and conferences. This would include sourcing for and co-ordinating with event vendors and attendees. 
  • Set up and manage virtual meeting platforms; ensure the events meet requirements; and helping in the actual running of the events. 
  • Co-ordinate with IT vendors for the web portal, and make recommendations for how the web portal could be enhanced. 
  • Upload provided materials regularly to the web portal and ensure the portal’s smooth running. 
  • Liaise with vendors for logistics arrangement such as ground transportation, flight booking, accommodation and catering.
  • Responsible for processing necessary payments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. 
  • Act as the point of contact for event attendees; circulation of event details and replying to attendee enquiries. 
  • Manage event registration and registration lists. 

Requirements

  • Diploma with 2-3  years of experience in event management or administrative role.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and client relationship management abilities.
  • Must be comfortable to travel
  • Proficiency in event management software and web portal management tools would be an advantage.
