Responsibilities

  • Participate in maintenance standby duty to cover 24x7 support on rotational basis pre-assigned by the team lead
  • Ensure SLA Level is achieved every single fault case.
  • Ensure escalation is carried out when a fault call is beyond the knowledge of L1/L2.
  • Attend to daily call assignment.
  • Attend to preventive maintenance not limited to hardware inventory.
  • Follow up case from opening till closure.
  • Update incident tickets properly and promptly.
  • Train L1/L2 on his own competency. Example firewall/legacy products
  • New assignment by Ops manager or TSM when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or relevant field
  • 5 years and above of experience in configuring and administering routers and switches (e.g. Cisco routers and switches, etc), Checkpoint firewall products
  • Good understanding of network system, network architecture, routing, switching, firewall and security 
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively at all levels 
  • Obtain certifications required to support key customers.
  • Perform weekend or after office hours duty if required.
  • 24x7 standby support is required.
