Responsibilities

  • Be on the forefront to drive assessment of operation compliance activities due to new policy, governance or new operating environment required from the organization or government.
  • Conduct regular checks and validation on operations processes to ensure compliance assurance to published and approved SOPs
  • Rationalize operations compliance practices on the ground across all DNA managed systems and components, and propose changes for consistent practices
  • To provide responses and manage timeline on behalf of all managed systems.   
  • Provide updates on changes in operating SOPs due to new policies, governance or operating environment for staff awareness and compliance. 
  • Work with the project / operations teams on remediation plans arising from non-compliance issues e.g. self-attestation, EOS, VA etc. 
  • Collaborate with responsible application teams to raise deviations and provide mitigation actions for any non-compliance matters.
  • Participate in audit review, under the leadership of Dataops, to provide clarifications to auditor’s Operations related queries
  • Validate and assess feasibility of the proposed management responses recommendations from the Operations work perspective.
  • To counter propose mitigation measures if it is not viable. 
  • Manage audit remediation actions arising from audit findings and follow up with the responsible parties for timely completion.
  • Validate existing compliance processes regularly to assess relevance and to eliminate unnecessary steps or duplication of work due to ever changing IT operating environment.
  • Enhance and automate the operational / compliance processes, wherever possible, for resource optimization and cost savings outcomes. 
  • Recommend new technologies, methodologies, systems or opportunities for cost savings, security and service quality improvement.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering  
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years working experience in system operations compliance and management areas.
  • Has experience with IT audit and is familiar with operating standards (e.g. ISO, ITSM)
  • Must be cloud certified (AWS preferred)  
  • In-depth understanding of data warehouse concepts, data profiling, data verification and advanced analytics techniques
  • Experience in managing a team in project implementation or support work. 
  • Certification in IT operation management is preferred.  
  • Possess hands-on experience with technologies such as Informatica IDMC, Databricks, BI tool (Tableau, Sagemaker).
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with different groups of stakeholders.
  • Exposure to hospital information / clinical systems is an added advantage
