  • Understand the E2E Test Strategy and come up with functional testing giving better test coverage
  • Plan and implement test automation
  • Lead the test team and manage the work assign to team members
  • Maintain the traceability of test cases to requirement
  • Raise the test environment requirement request as per the schedule and ensure the environments are secured for various test phases – System Testing/Integration Testing / UAT
  • Raise test data requirement and ensure required test data in place for various test phases
  • Track the testing progress and report the daily status to test manager
  • Maintain the defect tracker and escalate showstopper
  • Collect metrics based on overall testing statistics, analysis the defects and work on continuous improvement
  • Review the defects raised by the various test teams and take them to closure.
  • Participate in defect triage calls
  • Identify Risks and arrive mitigation plans at various test phases
  • Track Issues and dependencies and alert stake holders on possible impacts
  • Review of all test deliverable and ensure correctness
  • Participate in Entry/Exit gating reviews for all test phases
  • Review and monitor effort burn charts for the team


  • The candidate should have at least 8 years total experience including at least 4 years in BSS telecom domain
  • He/she should have a good understanding of testing methodologies and processes with functional testing
  • Work experience in SAAS product testing (CloudeSense and SaleForce expertise is added advantage)
  • Experience working on test management tools (ALM/JIRA)
  • Exposure test automation methodologies & various test automation approach.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Telecon domain, CRM and CPQ package knowledge, SAAS product testing, Test automation
