i) Presales functions :

  • Design and develop solutions to meet tender / customer requirements
  • Execute solutions proposed and POC (Proof Of Concept)
  • Develop product content including but not limited to product datasheet, marketing material, User Guides and training materials
  • Provide support to Sales Team in product knowledge, qualifying prospects and crafting sales pitches
  • Participate In strategy meetings with Marketing Team and analyse potential markets for product feature enhancement
  • Conduct product webinars and provide support for trade show and events

ii) Principal functions :

  • Lead or participate as part of a team for solution design
  • Design and develop solutions to meet tender / customer requirements
  • Requirements gathering with customers and prospects
  • Prepare presentations for proposed solution / tenders
  • Execute solutions’ presentations and POC (Proof Of Concept)
  • Determine technical risks/issues and suggest mitigation options
  • Occasional travelling required


  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or Business (Administration)
  • The incumbent should have at least 2-3 years of relevant Presales Solutioning experience in either one of the following: a) Systems - Windows, VMware, Storage etc; or b) Security - Cyber Security (Firewalls, Web Security, Email Security, EDR, SIEM, Deception, Threat Intel Platform and Security Analytics Platform); or c) Network - Cisco Routers & Switches, Firewall, LAN/WAN etc.
  • Team player and ability to work independently
