Responsibilities

  • Manages all stakeholders to ensure project resources are allocated and milestones are achieved for Transition/Implementation projects; 
  • Ensures on time transition preparation activities for the project, including Project initiation document and detailed project schedule; 
  • Provides project status reporting and relevant measures required for Project Governance; 
  • Develops transition approach, project plan, resource plan, in agreement with all stakeholders; 
  • Monitors transition progress to ensure all deliverables (Knowledge transfer, Shadowing, 
  • Reverse Shadowing, Service takeover) meet quality, timing and methodology requirements; 
  • Conducts regular project reviews with project team members and stakeholders to assess progress, identify project key risks / concerns / issues and take appropriate actions to resolve them; 
  • Escalates project issues and scope changes to the relevant stakeholders on a needed basis 
  • Conducts readiness assessment based on relevant acceptance criteria after each project phase, ensuring key milestones and deliverables sign-off; 
  • Leads, plans and manages assigned projects within the business group, in accordance with organizational and project goals, such as timelines and quality, to ensure successful achievement of project objectives and deliverables; 
  • Acts as the single point of contact for entire scope of activities for designated IT outsourcing account in managed service areas; 
  • Adapts and implements project methodologies, processes, documentation, tools and measurements in relation to project management; 
  • Ensures effective decommissioning of services that are deemed `end of life` - to confirm the remove of all operational facilities, and redundant equipment, whilst ensuring any operational dependencies are effectively managed; 

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or its equivalent 
  • At least 5 years of related experience in Information Technology or its equivalent industry 
  • At least 5 years of experience in Project Management experience with working experience in Workplace Management, Infrastructure Management as well as Cybersecurity Management would be added advantage 
  • At least 2 years of IT Managed Services experience with proven ability to work in large groups and managing multiple projects 
  • Working experience in Cloud Services, DevSecOps, Agile & Cybersecurity would be added advantage 
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, risk and change management 
  • Knowledge of project management software tools and techniques is a must 
  • Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate the project team in project implementation and with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Effective influencing, organizational and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication skills and ability to interact with all levels 
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to write professionally 
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as in a team 
  • Competent at communicating at the Senior and Executive Management level 
  • Strong personal commitment to achieving results 
  • Have passion and with excellent appreciation of customer service 
  • Demonstrated ability in decision making 
  • Working experience in Government agencies a plus 
  • Preferably someone with PMP and ITIL certification
