Responsibilities

(80% Regional System Administration and Operation):

  • Optimize service performance/utility and reliability/warranty: i) Technical solution architecture, standardization and documentation for all CIs ii) Technical service processes (SOP, System backup plan, Security hardening plan…) iii) Availability/Capacity planning and actions (HW warranty / maintenance / HA design…) iv) Technical platform life cycle management (platform refresh) v) System performance monitoring (KPI/SLA)
  • APAC Regional L2 escalation point and liaison between Regional team and Global team/External vendors.

(20% Project):

  • Participate and assist in site Infrastructure projects/roll-out
  • Contribute in Project implementation, service and technical documentation for APAC

Requirements

  • Diploma / Bachelor Degree in IT Management / Computer Science / Business Computing
  • 2-3 years minimal in IT front end environment (workstation/end user support and office operations)
  • 2-3 years minimal in IT system administrations (MNC/Regional APAC experience will be an advantage)
  • MSCE/MCITP, VMware will be highly advantageous
  • ITIL will be advantageous

Technical Competencies to have : *Administration on: - SCCM Imaging and software mass roll-out / software advertisement / troubleshooting - MS Active Directory / GPO / Login Script/ Windows Scripting/ Powertools - Virtualized Apps - Windows 10 machines

  • Design, Build and Administrate:
  • Windows Server 2008/2012~ (Dell, HP…)
  • System performance monitoring and optimization (Nagios / Groundwork…)
  • Symantec SEP
  • Virtualization (VMware / Vsphere / VDI)
  • File Server, Data Storage (NAS)
  • Backup (Symantec BackupExec, Tape/Disk backup devices) and recovery
