Responsibilities

Perform Linux system administration, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and configuration
Manage and deploy Logstash pipelines as part of the ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack
Configure and manage syslog collection and metrics monitoring across systems
Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and operational workflows
Handle Service Requests (SR) and Change Requests (CR) in accordance with IT service management processes
Monitor system health and performance, ensuring high availability of infrastructure
Set up and maintain dashboards in Kibana for operational visibility and reporting

Requirements

Proficient in Linux administration (e.g., RHEL or equivalent)
Hands-on experience with the ELK stack, particularly Logstash pipeline deployment and Kibana dashboard creation
Strong understanding of syslog and metrics concepts
Solid foundational knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, subnetting)
Experience managing SRs and CRs in a structured IT environment
Scripting skills (e.g., Bash equivalent)
Able to perform standby duties, including being on-call and responding to after-hours incidents when required
