Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline with 15 or more years of relevant experience, including at least 7 years in a senior software engineering, technology management, or delivery leadership role.
- Proven experience leading and developing multidisciplinary software teams.
- Strong experience managing the full software development lifecycle for complex, integrated, and mission-critical systems.
- Experience managing multiple projects, competing resource priorities, and geographically distributed or offshore teams.
- Experience establishing software engineering standards, DevSecOps pipelines, technical reviews, and quality controls.
- Experience supporting tenders, technical proposals, customer engagements, and solution demonstrations.
- Strong knowledge of the following :
- Modern software architecture, engineering practices, and development methodologies.
- DevSecOps, automated testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and release management.
- Secure software development, vulnerability management, software quality, and technical governance.
- High-availability, resilient, scalable, and maintainable system design.
- Application of AI and automation to software engineering and solution delivery.
- Strong people leader who can inspire, coach, develop, and retain engineering talent.
- Demonstrates sound technical judgement and credibility with senior engineering professionals.
- Able to organise multidisciplinary teams and deliver complex software systems.
- Strong resource planning, prioritisation, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Able to balance engineering quality, cybersecurity, schedule, cost, operational, and commercial considerations.
- Communicates effectively with technical teams, senior management, customers, partners, and corporate stakeholders.
