Responsibilities

Data Network systems management and troubleshooting (e.g., performance, problem, change and capacity monitoring).
Bandwidth management and protocol prioritisation on circuit.
Work with carriers and other circuit providers to implement new or upgraded data communications networks.
Perform data network disaster back-up and recovery including data network contingency planning.
Work with carriers and other circuit providers to perform any operations activities including fault/problem management
Provide network services to MAC requests of workstation/users.
Manage router/switch configurations and access list, firewalls, IP addresses and related services (i.e., DNS/DHCP).
Perform asset management including hardware, software licenses and lines.
Manage and co-ordinate physical (e.g., equipment) and logical (e.g., IP address changes and management to ensure no duplicates, etc.) installs, moves, adds and changes.
Monitor and provide alert on abnormalities found in logs.
Update details changes onto relevant operation documentation.
Perform network switching and providing status report.
Perform network optimisation to ensure network resources are used optimally.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise network and security environments, including:
- HPE Aruba Networks (switches, access points, gateways, ClearPass Network Access Control)
- Palo Alto Networks (software and hardware firewalls, including Panorama)
- Check Point firewalls
- BeyondTrust
- EfficientIP (DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management)
Rotational standby support is required.

Shortlisted candidate will be offered a 1 year agency contract employment.
