Responsibilities
Main roles and responsibilities :
- Lead a team of TA engineers handling infrastructure and security related tasks
- Take ownership of multiple application products and its operational aspects of patching, application support etc. Eg, Websphere/IBM
MQ/QlikSense/Sharepoint/Pega etc
- Take part in application architecture sessions with build teams to provide inputs on integration points like Web services, interfaces for
MQ and SFTP
- Familiar with setting and defining operational processes.
- OS level patching
- Application-level patching
- Operational housekeeping and archival.
- Backup and recovery etc
- Familiar with Government level security concepts in hardening, scanning, security posture and mindset
- Troubleshoot Application and/or Infrastructure related problems
- Operational mindset to provide onsite support upon notice when issue occurs, including after office hours
- Monitoring and maintaining of IT system and application assets for the project
- Administration of Databases (Oracle / MSSQL)
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Intermediate Networking Knowledge
- Intermediate Server Administration for Windows and Unix Operation systems
- Understanding of Enterprise 3-tier architecture
- Able to support in design, set up and configure fault tolerant and highly available systems.
- Min 2 years experience in Oracle 19c DB administration
- Min 2 years experience in leading a team
Good to have skills (Optional)
- Familiar with Agile process and tools so that can understand develop process and tools to support SDLC
- Scripting (Bash/Python/Powershell etc)
- Familiar with Web application from end user interaction to backend servers and databases
- Knowledge on virtualization, containerization, and cloud computing infrastructure
- Familiar with IT Security Hardening and Vulnerability Assessment
- Practical experience in Oracle OGG
- Familiar with Oracle AWR reports
Shortlisted candidates will be offered a 2 Years agency contract employment.
