Responsibilities

  • Lead and own the end-to-end business analysis function for assigned workstreams or projects, ensuring business requirements are clearly defined, traceable, and aligned to project objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for business analysis matters, working closely with clients, product owners, architects, and delivery teams to shape solution direction and scope.
  • Drive requirement elicitation through structured workshops, interviews, and working sessions, ensuring stakeholder alignment and timely decision-making.
  • Translate business needs into high-quality functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria, with a strong understanding of technical implications.
  • Partner with architects and developers to validate solution designs, assess feasibility, and ensure requirements are implementable and scalable.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior BAs, reviewing deliverables and enforcing consistent analysis and documentation standards.
  • Support delivery through change impact analysis, defect triage, UAT support, and requirement clarifications, ensuring solutions meet business intent.
  • Contribute to project governance and client communications, including status updates, risk identification, and dependency management.

Requirements

  • Degree /Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end business analysis across complex initiatives, owning requirement elicitation, validation, prioritisation, and sign-off. 
  • Able to synthesise fragmented business, operational, and technical inputs into coherent, outcome-driven solution designs, while guiding junior BAs and ensuring consistency in analysis standards.
  • Strong understanding of system architectures, integration patterns, and data flows, with the ability to comprehend requirements down to code-level implications. 
  • Comfortable engaging with developers and architects on technical trade-offs, performing root cause analysis, and validating solutions across Java, JavaScript, SQL, and AWS-based environments.
  • Confident in leading client and stakeholder engagements, including senior management, translating complex technical concepts into clear business language. Able to manage expectations, facilitate decision-making, and drive alignment across business, technology, and delivery teams.

Good to have skills (Optional)
1. Experience with Kafka, event-driven, or message-based architectures
2. Experience leading legacy system modernisation or migration initiatives, including ownership of complex CRs
3. Strong track record in facilitating and leading client-facing workshops, walkthroughs, and solutioning sessions
4. Advanced analytical skills to decompose complex problem spaces into structured, actionable components
5. Ability to formulate solution options and recommendations backed by impact, risk, and feasibility analysis
6. Continuous improvement mindset, able to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and optimisation opportunities
7. Strong collaboration skills to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior analysts
8. Ability to produce clear, structured, and decision-oriented functional and technical documentation
9. Strong working knowledge of SDLC, Agile and/or hybrid delivery models
