Responsibilities

Collaborate with other engineering teams and system architects to obtain product features from analysis to deployment phases.
Implement the design in C and unit test all the software components.
Verify and validate software system on target hardware.
Perform the necessary software maintenance and give consultancy to users on the deployed software.
Continuously develop new skills & techniques in software technologies to improve and reduce software development time and effort.
Participate in the definition of the future products.
Enhance infrastructures to hit performance and reliability metrics.
Drive data-driven decisions through metrics, experimentation, and experience.
Own problems end-to-end, thinking through everything from user experience, data models, scalability, operability, and ongoing metrics.
Mentor teammates and contribute to the growth of individuals and the overall team.
Craft our long-term technical vision with high standards and align with business directions.

Requirements

Knowledge in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent
More than 5 years of experience in embedded system software development, RTOS and/or Linux.
Good understanding of low-level device drivers like CAN, UART or SPI.
Solid programming skill in C/C++.
Good understanding of unit testing.
Demonstrate a hunger for new knowledge and the ability to quickly source, test and demo ideas.
Excellent communicator and able to thrive in a fluid, flexible and innovative environment
Experience in agile software development and embedded system product development from power-on to full functional system.
Understands hardware, able to read schematics and data sheets.
Must be interested in space / satellites / remote imagining.
