Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other engineering teams and system architects to obtain product features from analysis to deployment phases.
  • Implement the design in C and unit test all the software components.
  • Verify and validate software system on target hardware.
  • Perform the necessary software maintenance and give consultancy to users on the deployed software.
  • Continuously develop new skills & techniques in software technologies to improve and reduce software development time and effort.
  • Participate in the definition of the future products.
  • Enhance infrastructures to hit performance and reliability metrics.
  • Drive data-driven decisions through metrics, experimentation, and experience.
  • Own problems end-to-end, thinking through everything from user experience, data models, scalability, operability, and ongoing metrics.

Requirements

  • Knowledge in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • More than 5 years of experience in embedded system software development, RTOS and/or Linux.
  • Good understanding of low-level device drivers like CAN, UART or SPI.
  • Solid programming skill in C/C++.
  • Good understanding of unit testing.
  • Demonstrate a hunger for new knowledge and the ability to quickly source, test and demo ideas.
  • Excellent communicator and able to thrive in a fluid, flexible and innovative environment
  • Experience in agile software development and embedded system product development from power-on to full functional system.
  • Understands hardware, able to read schematics and data sheets.
  • Must be interested in space / satellites / remote imagining.
