Responsibilities

  • Responsible for designing, deploying, configuring, and maintaining CCTV systems integrated over IP networks.
  • Plan and design CCTV network architecture and effective surveillance coverage.
  • Install, configure, and commission IP cameras, DVRs/NVRs, video management systems (VMS), and associated hardware/software.
  • Configure and maintain routers, switches, VLANs, VPNs, and PoE networks supporting camera infrastructure.
  • Establish high-availability VPN connectivity across multiple CCTV sites.
  • Monitor CCTV and network performance, diagnose issues, and perform proactive maintenance.
  • Apply firmware updates, security patches, and resolve vulnerabilities in network devices.
  • Work alongside CCTV, access control, and IoT teams to integrate solutions into wider security platforms.
  • Perform site surveys, risk assessments, and recommend enhancements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and network topology diagrams.
  • Train clients and internal teams on CCTV system operation, maintenance, and security best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to standards such as ONVIF, NSI, MOI‑SSD, and local regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor / Diploma in Computer science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field with 3–7 years in CCTV system deployment and network engineering.
  • Certifications: Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), CompTIA Security+, Hikvision, Axis, Milestone, or equivalent.
  • Proven expertise in configuring IP-camera systems and video surveillance infrastructure.
  • Networking: TCP/IP, VLAN, PoE, WAN/LAN, QoS, VPN, multicast routing, HA protocols (VRRP, HSRP).
  • Security technologies: IPSec, UTM, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Proficiency with Wireshark/sniffer tools, Linux environments.
  • Experience with CCTV platforms: Dahua, Hikvision, Uniview, Hikcentral, Bosch, Milestone.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and client-facing abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate across teams and external vendors.
