Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Computer Engineering with at least 4-5 years of relevant experiences
- Strong leadership in managing custom-build application projects, from requirement analysis to deployment. Able to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions, ensuring alignment across development, testing, and operations teams.
- Proficient in modern application architectures and coding standards with hands-on understanding of Cobol, mainframe systems, Java, JavaScript, SQL and AWS Cloud services. Capable of reviewing technical designs, guiding developers, and resolving integration or performance issues.
- Effective/confident communication, ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language for client communication and managing client expectations and translating technical decisions into business impacts.
- Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture (Kafka, SNS/SQS, or equivalent).
- Experienced in legacy modernization or mainframe migration projects.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control (GitLab, Jira, etc.), and DevOps practices.
- Experience in data modelling, API orchestration, and integration between legacy and cloud-native systems.
- Proven record of leading client workshops, project planning, and technical design sessions.
- Ability to analyse and break down complex problems.
- Formulate solution/response using information gathered.
- Ability to identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to write clear and concise technical and functional documentation.
- Familiar with SDLC governance processes
