Responsibilities

  • Assist Level 2 Systems Support Engineers for the day-to-day operations
  • Handle operational support and maintenance to AWS, Azure, M365 and Huawei Cloud
  • Administer and support Windows Server 2019 environments, including installing, configuring, and troubleshooting servers
  • Operations and facility management of Systems / Infrastructure according to established procedures and service levels
  • Manage systems changes through established change request process and provide status reports to the relevant parties.
  • Respond promptly to incident, investigate and provide temporary and/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement proactive measures. Monitor effectiveness of implemented measures
  • Monitor and measure the performance and availability of systems proactively; implement corrective actions identified to improve performance & availability.
  • Monitor the agreed service level (e.g. service request, system availability), document & maintain the configuration of the systems; provide regular reporting to relevant parties
  • Plan and implement service continuity measures, i.e., backup/restore procedures and disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operation of the business.

Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma holder in Information Technology with 2-3 years experience as a System Engineer or similar role, with expertise in AWS and Windows Server 2019
  • Strong hands-on experience in administering and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, and other AWS services
  • Proficient in managing and maintaining Windows Server 2019 environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and other server-related technologies
