Responsibilities

  • Carry out fault diagnostic checks for mechanical and electromechanical equipment (e.g., engines, HVAC systems, gear assemblies).
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical systems and components.
  • Conduct engineering studies and analysis for military systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and local industry to develop local repair capability for mechanical equipment.
  • Develop and maintain mechanical system specifications, design documents, and other technical documentation.
  • Ensure that mechanical systems comply with industry standards and regulations, including safety standards.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant engineering disciplines (e.g., Mechatronics, Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing Engineering). Diploma holders with relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
  • Proficient in report writing and good presentation skills to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of CAD tools such as SolidWorks is an advantage.
  • Able to interact well with internal teams and customers.
  • Willing to work in camp sites and comply with camp regulations.
  • Possess Class 3 license is an advantage.
