Responsibilities

Plan and execute of HPC application tuning work to meet schedules
Engage with customers to execute HPC application tuning and parallelizing on behalf of end users
Advise and provide guidance or training to end users for HPC application development, debugging, optimization and parallelization
Provide professional advice on HPC including but not limited to end user use of HPC and production support related to HPC application use
Maintain domain expert applying broad technical skills, with deep industry knowledge and business acumen in developing optimized solutions that promote customer’s business goals
Liaise effectively between customers, delivery team and business partners to ensure high quality and timely resolution of customer issues.

Requirements

A solid understanding of overall HPC architectures
Minimum experience of 4 years in application development and numerical model parallelization.
Language and Library: Fortran, Open MP, MPI, C, C++
Operating systems: UNIX/Linux
Must have knowledge of numerical simulation application such as climate research, weather forecasting and aeronautics simulation.
Proficient in assisting users with various AI tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, PyTorch Lightning and more.
Experienced with Distributed Data Parallel (DDP) techniques, which are essential for scaling deep learning models across multiple GPUs or machines.
Proficient in using performance analysis tools, compiler analysis tools, and debuggers (e.g. Allinea DDT / TotalView)

Shortlisted candidate will be offered a 1 Year Agency Contract employment.
