Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy Workday Extend applications tailored to business needs.
• Develop reusable, modular components following Workday best practices and security standards.

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze functional and technical requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical design documents and actionable development tasks.

• Integrate Workday Extend applications with other Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Financials) and external systems via Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs).
• Collaborate with integration teams to ensure end-to-end data flow and process automation.

• Conduct thorough unit testing and participate in system and user acceptance testing.
• Support deployment activities, including migration to production and post-deployment validation.

• Monitor application performance and provide ongoing support, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Troubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

• Stay current with Workday’s latest features, updates, and Extend capabilities.
• Propose and implement continuous improvement ideas to optimize Workday solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience with Workday, including:
  • Workday Extend application development
  • Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, and integration tools
• Proficiency in XML, XSLT, JSON, and REST/SOAP APIs
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming concepts and secure coding principles
