Responsibilities

  • Make questionnaires, focus groups and Translate business objectives into research steps
  • Work cross-functionally to build relevant primary research collection tools for customers
  • Identify and collect relevant data points
  • Construct and maintain a central database for recording market data. 
  • Consistently exercise independent judgement and discretion in research matters
  • Deploy statistical modeling techniques to analyze data and forecast future trends
  • Manage external research vendors
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work on proposals as well as deliver work

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably within psychology, sociology, statistics, communications, or marketing
  • 2-5 years of direct experience within similar roles
  • Work experience in market research firms like Kantar, Nielsen, GFK, GLG, and so on, or in Insights /Strategy department team of a digital platform or CPG player
  • Experience in looking at data, making sense of it to generate insights
  • Experience in making questionnaires/discussion guides or having them made
  • Experience working with cross functional, cross-country teams, dealing with clients in changing briefs/ evolving briefs.
  • Good quantitative and qualitative skills
  • Good ppt and presentation skills, able to build a storyline
  • Generate compelling insights (not information)
  • Team player
  • Knowledge of expert interviewing, FGD, and moderation techniques
  • Knowledge of statistical tools/analysis

Shortlisted candidates will be offered a 1 Year Agency contract employment.
