Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain Unix-based systems and servers.
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
Perform regular system upgrades and patches to maintain security and functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions.
Collaborate with other IT teams to support network and application infrastructure.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 4-5 years of relevant working experience
Proven experience as a Unix System Administrator or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning.
Basic understanding of network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Shortlisted candidates will be offered a 1 Year Agency Contract employment.
