Responsibilities
- Performing new services/network upgrades because of new and enhanced applications and architectures
- Conducting preliminary site visits to determine installation requirements
- Installing new or enhanced functions or features
- Installing new or enhanced hardware items, components, peripherals, coordinating premise wiring, and configuration/system management tools during off-peak business hours
- Installing new or enhanced network configurations, including switches, routers, virtual private network (VPN) appliances, wireless local area networks (LAN), firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), content filtering and anti-virus (AV) scanning systems, encryption systems and transmission facilities defined in wild area network (WAN) services
- Performing security pre-configurations such as operating systems hardening and verification scans
- Performing migration of data, either electronic or manual, for network system management repositories, address tables and other network management elements
- Collect data for monthly service reports to customer and follow-ups from such monthly meetings
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or similar studies.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Preferably have Cisco Ise, Aruba Clearpass or Easy Certification.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Good technical presentation skills.
- Good understanding of End-to-End system with good software and electronic background.
