Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business units / product / functional team to understand new business needs
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements that encompass the end-to-end IT ecosystem
  • Produce design impact analysis documentation that highlight changes in all impacted systems, and any potential changes on interface level
  • Validate detailed design documents from engineers and developers, and oversee the implementation of the required changes from build, test to deployment
  • Work with architect in building the solution roadmap and major changes to the stack
  • Perform internal QA before releasing features to end-user for UAT
  • Senior candidates may be asked to manage a team of junior business analysts and quality assurance engineers.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior from time to time. 

Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma in telecommunication, computer engineering or IT related field 
  • 3 years of working experience in a telco or infrastructure environment is preferred. 
  • Strong technical knowledge of passive/active infrastructure and Data Centre operation 
  • Good understanding of Networking knowledge, e.g. WAN/LAN, TCP/IP etc 
  • Familiar with site deployment of in-building telco’s facilities and assets 
  • Independent, self-driven, highly customer focused and able to work under high-pressure environment especially during emergency restoration of telecommunications services 
  • Good communication skills, keen to learn and a team player 
  • Assist in other operational tasks as required
