Responsibilities

  • Preparing and managing general ledger entries; Perform GL account analysis to make sure the entries and balance are correct
  • Conducting checks on the accuracy of the financial information; Responsible for the maintenance and accurate completion of the GL and ensuring financial information are consistent within the accounting standards
  • Review and compliment the work done by the outsource accountant team
  • Analysing and interpreting financial information, helps to support the data that supports budgeting and forecasting requirements and to provide solutions to Control issues
  • Presenting financial information via powerpoint for the management
  • Involved in statutory financial reporting and yearend processes
  • Coordinate and manage corporate income tax reporting
  • Performing biweekly cash flow and delivering monthly cash flow dashboard
  • Taking care of the yearly renewal of the Company‚Äôs insurance
  • Any other responsibilities that is assigned by the Director

Requirements

  • Good degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification, with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the Big 4 audit firms and commercial firms (combined).
  • Experience in managing project finance matters for large projects in IT companies
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to be able to manage both internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, power pivot or similar tools and comfortable working with large data sets Self-starter who is proactive and driven
  • Need to be curious and has keen interest to deep dive into financials to shed light on the project.
