Responsibilities

  • Provide Corrective Maintenance works/activities through the following (but not limited to):
  • Provide Corrective Maintenance of deployed System (Card Access / CCTV, Intercom, Systems).
  • Provide inspection, rectification works and maintain system performance.
  • Conduct Testing and Commissioning with end users.
  • Ensure periodical backup of database is carried out monthly/quarterly or in accordance to customer’s requirements.
  • Conduct functional checks on system (server/workstation/networks) and provide patches and updates.
  • License updates of the application software.
  • Conduct functional tests on various security devices and ensure it meet require performance.
  • Collate reports and checklist of PM works for billing purpose and CM works report for filing.
  • Do trending of the equipment failure and provides feedback to QA on products quality.
  • Monitor and Provide adequate and continuous flow of spare parts availability to support and meet downtime of system.
  • Update and ensure adequate spares and tools for necessary service work.
  • Attend all site meetings, inspections and check on contractor’s work quality.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate with sub-contractors and customer on all site matters.
  • Manage sub-contractor work schedule and quality of work.
  • Support Contract administration works (Ordering, billing milestone, O&M submission, Operation Manual submission, maintenance checklist).
  • Provide with quotation for adhoc service request/ VO work not within maintenance contract.
  • Carry out A&A work/ VO work for sites during maintenance cycle.
  • Submission of Maintenance Plan proposal and resources allocation.
  • Updates maintenance document and design plans.
  • Initiates tech refresher for obsolete system and work with engineer to submit proposal.
  • Perform other job responsibilities as and when assigned.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering discipline preferably, in Security/IT industry, those with other engineering experiences are also welcome
  • At least 2 years of working experience in maintenance industry, those with project execution experience will be added advantage.
  • Knowledge in Security /Server System / Network equipment an added advantage.
  • Able to be on standby or on shift/rotation to attend on-site 24 hours emergency service.
  • Possess good analytical skills and ability to communicate with customers at all level.
  • Ability to write and present to customer.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, not limit to system, single line, services drawings.
  • Individuals who have a keen interest to keep abreast of technical competencies especially in the areas of security, server and network equipment.
