The Ops Supervisor will be accountable for the followings:
· Minimum 2 to 5 years of IT infrastructure experience in IT operation management.
· Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Information Technology.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact across all levels of organization.
· Experience in leading and guiding a team of IT Infrastructure Engineers in delivering network, server and desktop services.
· Experience in monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting complex networks and systems.
· Experience on IT infrastructure project implementation.
· Management experience and a proven track record of planning and executing successful projects.
· Able work independently and adapt to a dynamic working environment quickly.
· Creative, analytical and with good written and oral communication skills.
· Be self-motivated and with good leadership and problem solving skills.
· Experience in disaster recovery drill.
· Preferably experience worked in government environment.
· Perform overtime as and when it requires and having 7×24 standby.
· Able to support a large pool of users (<2000 users).
· Preferably an ITIL Certified, Certified IT Project Manager (CITPM) or Project Manager Professional (PMP).
Advantages
· Experience in Wintel, Sun Solaris, AIX, Linux and HP-UX.
· Web server (Apache, IIS or iPlanet).
· Setup and maintain DHCP, DNS, mail servers, VPN servers, proxy servers, gateways and etc.
· Networking concept and knowledge.
· Service Desk or Helpdesk experiences.
